I had a Bic Veloce 278. About 120 litres from memory. At the time I was incapable of gybing, but on it I learned strap to strap technique.
The water wasn't perfectly flat either. If it's cheap, I'd say try it.
iirc, the Veloce was more user friendly than the Vivace. The Veloce was a pretty fun board to ride at the time - I had one for a while and surprisingly felt bigger than a Mistral Flow that was supposed to be similar in volume.
Personally, I'd spend double to get a newer, wider board of similar volume. Those boards are good memories but when I get back on one they aren't quite as fun as the memory suggests.
