Numbers turned out well for this Tuesday race, and the wind was slightly better than last week. Although on the lighter side, gusts and slight wind changes made the race a little more interesting.
As sailing out to the first marker between the heads most competitors were lucky enough to see the QE2 making its way in, also making it busy through the middle of our course as boats rushed to see it.
After the race we all enjoyed a couple of beers thanks to the windsurfnsnow shop and talked about the race. Also thanks to Balmoral Sailing school for letting us use kit for those that needed it, and providing rescue cover.
All in all a great race and thanks to everyone who came and hope to see you next Tuesday.
