Folks, I am sorry to report that one of our number has been taken by the darkside.

Many Mandurah locals would have noticed a rather large absence from the water of one of our favorite sons.

The question on the beach is:

Where is he

What has happened to the Hardman

Can it happen to us

Well good people it is my sad duty to inform you that the Hardman has indeed gone to the darkside

No not Kiting

It's worse

He hasn't got his wave ski (yet)

It's worse than that

He's not stripping down the local pub (now there's an image to get out of your mind)

It's even worse than that

What??? I hear you ask could be worse than all of the above??

Beware all ye out there, If it can happen to the Hardman, IT CAN HAPPEN TO YOU

If you listen carefully. On a quiet night in Perth with a 20kn southerly blowing you can hear him crying

Like a squirrel hoarding nuts, the Hardman works franticly through the winter cold months accumulating that rarest of commodities (brass)and body fat, so he may be able to once again survive another summer sailing season.

At the end of the summer season the Hardman will be considerably leaner and at the end of his supply of readies.

All this being said, he will have a big smug look on his dial.

Then once agian the cycle will continue during th cold winter months.
