What a week of swell.

The dawnies have been great apart from the complimentary 2nd and 3rd adams apple generated by the lack of warmth in the morning, and theres only so many ways or times you can warm a wetty in the one session

One thing though, is this paddling for waves has got knobs on it.

Bring on da vind

Paddling for waves............?

What is this new sport...........

Sounds very retro

Although rather primitive for me

It's hard work

Being unfit and unco doesn't help either

But when the swell is there and the wind isn't there is nothing better than going out just before the sun lights the horizon and going for a paddle with less than a 1/2 dozen crew.

The only let down is the car park dance afterwoods getting out of wet gear on a sub 10º morning thinking about the excuse why you are running late for work.

It has been great except for this thing called backwash that is killing some of the best waves. I wish i lived near a decent reef break. At least there have been waves

The dreaded Back wash was at the reefies as well (or the one I've been at.

Just makes it a bit interesting when your drop suddenly goes an extra 2 ft higher.
