To whoever took the time to ask what happened to my board due to my mast base snapping, as it went down wind and I swam towards the shore for 400 mtrs with my rig in tow.
Thanks for taking the time to collect my board, I saw you stop, tow and carry it to the grass.

I nearly needed rescuing myself a few times yesterday evening.
There was just a little bit of carnage out there. Large splashes and arms and legs everywhere. And just one or two equipment failures. I don't think it was the strength of the wind, but the variance. One minute slogging along and the next having to head up or get smashed.
Better than sitting on the beach though.

Yeah the boys at Woodies were saying yesterday that Monday there some huge jumps and some massive stacks, by looking at the few who were able to sail yesterday after Monday I would tend to agree.
