Matt here from Auswind.

Having seen and been involved in Starboard's R and D myself i thought i would share these results with you all. Once you experience Starboard's ability to think outside of the box and make some real innovation then you can see how they have developed such a performance advantage by going where many other brands fear to tread.(only to release a similar concept 1 season later)

any way - on to the results:

KP has taken the wave title riding production Acids! (grab an Acid - they work!)

Along with Antoine Albeau's Slalom 42 (production Isonics) world title AND his Super cross (production S-type) world title.

Taty Frans got 2nd Overall in the Freestyle ranking.

In formula something like 11 of the top 12 places were taken on A Starboard Formula 160. Basically nothing else was even competitive - and the Starboard guys reckon they have gone 1 better this year with the 161.

Thats as close to a board brand clean sweep of competition as i have ever seen!

Starboard doubled their nearest competitor in the PWA production points result.

Along with the development of the Evo concept, the Light wind Serenity project, the first performance planing tandem (the Gemini) and the next light wind performance leap (the Apollo - kills even the formula 161 in light wind planing) and development of a complete range of performance kids gear ..

...I think this shows that for performance sailing Starboard are virtually untouchable this year. If this look a little pro Starboard - well its a pretty rare overall result and i think its worth a mention.
