these things are called (if I remember rightly) a wind weapon and i think were invented by a yank who used to sail at the gorge. The idea is that once the sailor got some air the wing was swung horizontal above the sailors head and they literally " Flew" . They still required board speed and a good ramp (unlike tea-baggers) and they got HUGE airs...

Haven't seen one since the mid 80's....

Yep we all agree they were gay.

and just like the Wind Weapon, in another 20ys they will all be saying kiting was gay too.

and windsurfing will still exist .......... unlike hanging upside down under a bar that resembles what millions of kids do in a primary school playground every recess

I've had the photo for ages. I heard these things were used in the gorge too.

Getting to Yamba is a definate maybe sounds like fun

gybing would be **** loads easy, all u would have to do is flick the sail/wing thing over your head and change your feet. They look like they could break pretty easy but.
