Wow! Here's something you don't see every day.

It looks almost brand new, but must be from about 1983-4, I reckon.
Back in the day, this was the rich mans version of the cheaper, heavier brand I had.

I'm a relatively new comer to the sport, and have wondered why the vintage boards have so many foot straps. Could somebody explain how you use these foot straps ?. It is for somebody with 4 feet ?

Because moulded in grip on a polyethylene board is not that good. So when really seriously racing with feet very forward for sailing upwind and trying to hold a rail down it was nice to have your feet in straps.

That looks brand new. Look good in a windsurfing shop as a bit of retro windsurf art.
