Did my biggest hardest smack of a lip on Friday, and felt my back go crack, and I can hardly walk today, just me? Or is it age?

Asken for too much ya reckon

Wasn't epic Corro's never sailed with anything smaller than a 5.5, last 4 /5 trips only ever used a 4.7 or 4.2. Most used sail was a 6.9, got sick of using it

We need tp ost something on the challenge, wed after work, can you sail?

Bugger about the wind up there. I think you can blame it on Rooster as he has been up at Exmouth, so as you know he would have jinxed the entire coast line knowing his form.

Bad news i,m afraid. Next wednesday is the one day in the fortnight i work till 6pm.

Challenge wise we need to get out sh#t together

Yep we've slipped this month, need to do some good sessions every month in between the wavesailing from here-on in!!

Tell you what got found out in the surf first time out in 6 months, made one mistake gybing on a 3m wave, and 20 mins later totally exhausted hit the shore, got smashed and had to swim for gear, and every new set kept pushin gear further away, by time I got to it just sat with gear for 10 mins to get my breath back, in between diving the mast between sets, I'm out of breath just thinking about it!!

Then got out at *** ****** with Leech.

dont mess around with your back, if you cant walk, or hardly walk you could have done somthing bad, dont mess around with it, go see a doctor, my dad did that same kind of thing while he was off shore, opening valves and as he came up just cracked his back, in a bit of pain, so he just took a pain killer and kept working, the enxt day he couldnt walk, or hardly walk, and couldnt do his work, was sent home, and spent a good 5 months off of work, with a sliped disk pressing on his spinal coard, he now has hardly any feeling in his leg and has just really started sailing again,

worst thing was he was off the water for like 7 months!

so dont mess around with it, i am doing as much as i can now to strengthen my back, and keep it healthy so when im 40 i can still be sailing strong

Thanx Jordo, was exaggerating slightly, feel a lot better today, just age really a 47 yo body doesn't heal as fast as a young body.
