I wouldn't have a clue on sails & sail attachments. But I do on wind strengths & directions without wetting my finger or sticking a flag into the air! Lol!!!

Sorry guys. I would love some advice on a good sail, attachments & gear plus average price.

I have got an 8ft 2 inch JP Australia Widebody SUP & will soon have an 8ft 3 inch Sunova Soul SUP for my paddle surfing.

Just wondering if they would suit a sail, can they be sailed & how do they perform being such a small board?? The JP has a screw hole & the Sunova has a slot etc.

What would you recommend?

I'm pretty sure the JP takes a sail. If there is a screw hole around the handle, that's where the sail screws into. (Not to be confused with the vent screw)

I agree with a 5.0 sail. You won't plane so don't go bigger.

You will have great fun in the waves with this.

You may have to re read that! :) I said $1200 - $2000. The range being dependent on the type/ brand of gear and your negotiation skills.

I have also noticed that a few of the SUP suppliers are now selling SUP rig packages for pretty cheap, but were talking low performance gear for putting around a lake.
