Yep, I met Fred Haywood!

On our recent honeymoon to Hawaii we stayed in Paia, and did some sailing at Kanaha (top stuff). I saw a sign for "Fred Haywood Real Estate" and guess who was inside? Fred. I went in and said hello, had a chat about the huge wave he rode last century. Nice bloke.

I also got an MFC fin signed by the designer himself at the shop next to the Dakine outlet.

Top place Maui.

Hi Revhead, we were in Maui last year, Spent many a morning with Pio and Lalo Goya watching the Argentinian / Italy soccer matches for the world cup football, also had dinner with Francisco and his extended family - quite possibly the nicest people in the world!

Saw Robby Naish sail out at Kanaha for a photo shoot, when I get around to it I will put up the video, was truelly one of lifes great experiences,

Also in the carpark most days, Micah boutzianis, think he sold me a t shirt as well....

Oh and we stalked Levi Siver most mornings at the Pawela canery cafe, much to my wifes amusement!

Pros are quite approachable as well I found....

I was also in Maui last year, I bumped into Nik Baker and Keith Teboul in Paia.

Late last year I sailed with Jaeger Stone up at Gero. I could not believe how well he sails and he is only 17 years old!

Last time I saw Fred Haywood was walking up the beach at Point Moore Gero, Fred and Mike Waltze were both over here.

I once mistook Russell Morris at a small gig for a cover band lead singer, and asked him if he could do a few 'Chisel' numbers....security weren't nice!!!

I saw Malcolm Frazer and his wife once at work years ago. All the union guys were yelling out "Tammy's got one, Malcolm is one"
Made me laugh anyway.

I sailed with (OK, near)Jason Polokow at Torquay once. Being on the water with a master sure is a highlight.

answer: "a husband". That's not funny. That is the right answer, isn't it?

I had a pee next to Molly Meldrun at the airport once. He actually looks even more like Molly in real life than on tv. Strange really.

This guy was vacationing in Maui, and had Kevin Pritchard join him on a wave, while said guy had his headcam on. Check out the minute of footage, and his story about it.

A friend of mine got passed (blown off the water) by Robbie Naish several years ago. He said "I heard this sound like someone sailing up behind me, but much higher pitched." Then VOOM. Made his day, of course.

I was sailing in Botany Bay recently and met this bloke on the beach then had a sail with him
later on I said to some other sailors I know that bloke from somewhere
It was Paul Barry the ABC jurno who nailed that other sailor and put him in gaol......Allan Bond!

I love it when twin sisters want their photo taken with me.

Does this mean Iam a Celebrity?

A poem by BORIS.

I love myself
I think Iam grand
I go to the movies
I hold my hand
I put my arm around my waist
I get so fresh
I could slap my face.

Hooray 4 now
