Heard that a windsurfer was rescued near Arlington Reef off Cains today, does anyone know the full story?

Hi Scotty, nothing too exciting, just a mate who broke a mast sailing off Green Island, his lovely wife asked GBR Choppers to keep an eye out for him and then a tourist boat picked him up, all's well and he'll be back next blow

Ah too easy, am going to Arlington tomorrow. Will try to keep out of trouble.

The message came back to VTS in Cairns, that's how I heard about it.......

I think Al McLeod & Troppo have done a heap of wave sailing off the reef edge. Al's old man Cam and Troppo were one of the first two sailors to to do some speed work on Arlington( gpsteamchallenge.com.au/sailor_session/show?date=2010-07-03&team=20
