I just thought your comment suggesting he go back to windsurfing a little critical. Not particularly funny when he almost died.

Put it this way - I'm sure his mates who were out with him that day could say "ha ha go back to windsurfing son" and he'd take it well. If you or I said it we'd get snotted.
