could someone recommend a good place to stay for the week end between the beach and the wine in margaret river? It's for two couples, reasonable comfort and price.

I stayed at the Hilltop Studios two weeks ago... price is around $260 per couple/ per night. Each studio is more like a luxury bungalow in the bush with killer valley views and privacy. For two couples you need two studios but this means you can get some private time with your partner if you want it... plenty of space otherwise... good bbq, semi outdoor spa, great kitchen, dvd player, tvt super stylish. It's a great place if your other half is not a water addict. About 5 minutes to margs and 5 minutes to town. 3 minutes to the nearest vineyard...

Paul, who manages the place (and designed it), is also a keen windsurfer, kiteboarder and surfer with tips on where to sail if it's not blowing in Margaret River.

I'll defenately will stay there again next I go to Margaret River.
