Hi All,

Is there an equivalent body in QLD to the NSW Maritime Authority, that provides wind forecast and live readings by phone?

Got my week on the Gold Coast, but won't have access to seabreeze, so have to make the best of it by phone info.

You can get the forecast delivered every day via the Seabreeze SMS Alerts, or simply use the WAP browser in your mobile phone to get live readings whenever you like...

SMS Alerts -> /Members/Alerts/MyAlerts.aspx
WAP -> /info/wap.asp

Hi Eckas.

Buy yourself a dartboard and throw at it blindfolded. Whatever score you get, divide it by itself and add 12knots

If there's a strong wind warning issued, subtract 5 knots.

That is how they do it at the Goldcoast Seaway tower.

Yes Haircut 4000, my annual pilgrimmage to the gold coast occurs this Friday. Will be catching up with you boys at the Train shortly after!!! Same wind as you provided me last year woul be great!
