I know it is a brand if ridicule, but where can I find a mast foot for the long forgotten wayler ypsi?
The early 80's board I picked up has the two position holes, as well as the slot for the "Windsurfer one design" original style foot.
Cheers

Brand was ridicule, but this particular model was quite spiffy, I've seen rather incredible freestyle on those boards in my days. Sailed great.
If it has a windsurfer-like slot, then any old U-joint will do? Gotta be easier than finding the pin U-joint for those boards.
All the best.

I had one of these way back, and I broke about 3 mast foots....In the end, I glassed a standard mast track in.
It was a piece of cake...it didn't involve much cutting and all up the mast track was $15, glass- $5....job done

Here's a footnote.
I was at a freestyle comp this weekend.
As we were waiting around for the wind to pick up, I borrowed some old gear lying around, for the heck of it. Was a Wayler (not sure Ypsi or not), and it had the Windsurfer tee thing.
Ugly as they come, but sails more than OK for an old board, and longboard freestyle on it is OK too. Easy to rail too. If you use the old Windsurfer mast-T piece, make sure you glue it well, that's all.
I wouldn't buy it, but given no boards and $100 or less, I could sail this up to 15 knots easy.
Cheers.
