Hey, Im quite new at the sport (only picked it up this year) and was after some advise as to what sort of gear I should be looking into buying (and if anyone has stuff they want to sell). I was borrowing a 160L board while learning and I have now started using a 114L board. So im probably looking at something around the 100-120L size, but any advise would be appreciated.

114L is pretty small so you must be doing well! How much do you weigh and where are you sailing?
Do you have any sails / masts etc?

I'm on holidays so i have had plenty of time to learn
I weigh about 65kg. I have been sailing in safety bay because all the gear im borrowing is down there, but I may also look into sailing on the river. I don't have any gear at all.

Hey Owen,
I am only new to windsurfing myself. I've been giving new people advice because i know what you are going through. This link is to one of my old posts. I weight 60kg so this should work for you.

I now have a 90L freestyle board and a 5.7 sail. a bigger board around 110L would be ideal but they are hard to come by at a cheap price so I settled for a smaller board.
I sail a manly/wello so it's flat water.
