Considering it's the start of the easter holidays, what are peoples theories on getting to Hawks with the least traffic? Best answer gets a beer at the prize giving.

Leave early Saturday - Big Southerly - Beach start from elepant rock @ Palmy - Nice downwinder all the way.
Might be a little tough getting home if a NE dosn't blow in.
Thanks for the beer, another time maybe, I won't be there.

Saturday report...
4 races today in shifty E-SE winds, 25 knots in morning, dropping to 10-15knots during the racing. Sean O'Brien (AUS-120) had 2 wins and leads by just .25points from Sam Fawkes (AUS-21) and Sam Parker (AUS-3) who won a race each. Super close racing.....Sunday will be interesting...loads of racers and a great prize giving dinner all to come.... Hawks Nest at Easter is alot of fun...

Hi everyone
After our little chat on Sunday I looked into boat licenses.
There are three ways to get one. You can..
a) Do a course at a number of places (between $80 & $100).
b) Buy a DVD for $10 and do it at home.
c) Buy an online course for $10 and do it on the net.
I ordered the DVD on Tuesday morning and it arrived Thursday (the $10 includes postage). It comes with a voucher for one person to sit the boating license test and the voucher is valid for 1 year. I guess most of us have some power boating experience so the DVD or the online course are probably enough.
I'll post again after I've watched the DVD for a review.
