Looks like it might be epic, winds up to 30knots and seas to 3m..Keef and myself are going to hit Callala bay again, last time it was a fizzer but we've got everything crossed for tomoz. I'm just throwing my 4.7 in the van now ready for a big session. When this place is on nothing I've done comes close, if you're a gambler come and give it a go. I will have the gopro in action to give you guys a look of this awesome southerly location.....until they build the new break wall to protect the moored boats that is, you never know it might turn into a great freestyle spot after they put it in, imagine 20-30 knots rippin over dead flat water.
Really hope the wind comes......hard!

How flat is it there Jase as it is, compared to say the lake? Not much swell on atm and I'd be surprised if it's gets that big at all tomorrow. Might be time for spinz!

It stays flat up behind the reef when it's exposed, there's also a big flat area inside the bay. It will depend on how much east or west is in the southerly that will limit your ability to use this area, but normally you can get in a fair way fully powered before you loose the wind. It's a jumping spot when the rolling swell builds, I've lost sight of other sailors when the swell gets big, nice big floaty jumps. It's probably similar to the lake as far as being flat but without the weed, but if it has a bit of east in it you'll be sailing into super flat glassy water near the launch area. Have a look on google earth, it'll give you a good idea of what it looks like.

What a crappy day,
I'm staying in bed fo a while....no not really, I'm heading down to Sanctuary point(good flatwater sailing) to catch up with a mate, if it's good there I'll stay for the day but if it's a bit off I'll go back to Callala as it's always about 10 knots stronger there.

kids weekend and I have sold all my sailboards, awaiting the delivery of the 9-5 starboard. Sailing and SUP in one board will do the job I reckon.
