G'day guys. i have been using NP RS6's RSR'ings and RSR Evo1's for a while now.

I have just got a EvoII 6.2m. My question is.

Do they rig differently to the RSR's? The sail cut and panel layout is a bit different(large batten over hangs the boom etc).

Has anyone got any informed suggestions in relation the the optimum set up these sexy looking sails?

Thanks in advance

Cheers Bender

The 6.2m RSR EII is a sweet sail. The guide is pretty much spot on. You dont need so much pre-twist on the beach. Too much pre-twist takes the COP too low in the lulls. For downwind speed you dont need to back the outhaul off as much as the older sails. But it can help for speed runs in lighter wind to back off a little further than recommended in the guide. I set it so that it just touches the boom downwind in light wind. In stronger wind when I'm powered up I do as suggested in the guide- just clearing the boom.

Thanks Chris. The sail was yours. Did you do any special batten tuning on it

aaaah thought it might be. No need for batten tuning on that one! Thats the sail I got my WA 5x10 PB on this year. She's a ripper.
