So had my first few sails of the spring / new sailing season over the weekend.

little video throw together, no wacky freestyle moves, no radical airs, just good clean old fashioned sailing fun!

Bring on summer!
happy sailing!

Please post more vids when you can.

Great video Nick - say that's a mighty fine lookin' board you got there
The sad thing is that this sort of action might be impossible in a few years time - Nick is sailing on the site of a proposed canal residential development. Madness.

Great vid! Don't know if I would even attempt to sail through those heavy conditions......probably would.......but with much less impressive results! (& more stacks!)

[edit]
Then again.......don't have any work on today.....might have to find out!

Great vid Nick, Ralfs Bay is great. And it's still 30/40knts today ! You are right, that dreaded windnoise is very welcome.
What size sail did you have ?
Great editing and filming too. I've been trying windsurfing videos, but it's not easy to get a good result.

Well put together again.

pierrec - edited in sony vegas pro 8.0

easty - im sure it warms the heart to see the old board getting some love, we still have to get together for a sail mate

Yeah, looked like a good weekend! I was away working in the bush, back now, but heading off tomorrow for 10 days to St Helens, Stanley, Marrawah and Strahan before heading home - sure to get some wind along the way
