Hi
I'm thinking of a holiday in Mauritius as it seems it is a top spot for some sailing along with being family friendly. I'm based in Perth – any suggestions on cost effective ways of getting there maybe via Singapore as the direct flights seem to be expensive?
Also what time of year is best for some decent wind?
Cheers
David

June July is the best time
I had 6 days there as a stop over on the way back from uk.
My wife flew from Perth with half my gear and meet me there.

Great place we stayed at a place called pik pik google it. They pick you up from airport as well. I think we paid $90 a night with a small car

Air Mauritius was about $1500 at the time and they were excellent no charge for boards/sails

I got unlucky as the wind dropped out for my stay so no sailing but if you surf take a board as there was always swell
