Welcome to the forum, you will probably find others posting previously on here with a very similar problem, even if it wasn't specifically for your Ten Cate board. Try the seabreeze search or even google search and you should find photos of a work around. An old rubber tendon will nearly always break delaying your moment of nostalgia for another fortnight. New to this site. Took my board out for the first time in decades and the tendon is done. The above photo is my setup. Can you tell me which joint you used? Did you machine the nipple off of the piece that slides into the mast?? Thanks for any all input.

Ps I was so bummed as I was packing up..
