A few people have been enquiring about where to sail in the Mandurah Estuary.Best Location which holds from WSW around to ENE (Best SW to E) is 200 metres north of the Dawesville Channel opening Estuary side.
Accessed via Estuary Rd, either last or 2nd last turn-off on left before reaching D Channel Bridge. Conditions vary from dead flat near the west and East shores, to choppy bumpnjump in the middle. Done some of my best full speed planing gybes there.

Things to look out for, very low tides which mean not enough water, shallow in bits so no huge fins, and kiters seem to be making it a spiritual home, weekends can be crowded with kiters.
