The new 2010 Starboard Kode video is out - edited here in WA.

there are lots of Aussie shots in there including Margs, South coast WA, Wedge island and more.

as well as international stuff from Hawaii and Bonaire

Scotty Mckercher and Jaeger Stone feature as the aussie wave rippers.
And even some helmet cam stuff from me

Kp lays down some styling lines from Hookipa- and the bouj tears the sky apart

if you are keen to watch it - the video can found :

here for streaming:

www.whatisthekode.com/2010/video02.php

and here for a much higher quality download direct to your computer which you can keep :

spaces.hightail.com/resolve/711291686/29d30ceef20932367b433fdfcac31379

(small print: the ftp link above will expire on the July 21 - Quicktime player needed to view the file- it is a free download if you dont already have it - which you should because it gives you the ability to watch movies encoded in h.264 which is THE BEST compression algorithm available for web movie watching right now - smaller files / best image quality)

Two very hot videos, just way too short !! Come on, give us more. You must have hours of footage from the starboard shoots. Can you turn it into a one hour long video please? Pretty please, Reflex?
On second thoughts, make it two hours.

Holgs - i have something on the go that might suit..

but keep in mind that you have to shoot for hours to get an edit that has the best of the best moves in there.. so.. for every hour of footage that is good enough to make the short list (ie the best shots of the day) i will probably only use 2 mins in the final edit. thats a 30 to 1 shot to edit ratio.

Shooting and Editing an interesting production really is a process of distillation. Of course if the pro riders could go 40 - 50 ft every time and stick every goitre , threeo , air etc without falling off - that would help! But even those guys come a cropper quite a bit.

Great, looking forward to seeing it. Keep up the good work. I'm still drooling over The Wizards of Oz previews too. I would definitely buy it if you released it.

Watching the pro's stack it occasionally in a video isn't such a bad thing. Wipeout sections are always entertaining and seeing the pros stack it makes the rest of us feel better too.
