Yesterday I snapped my Loft 100% RDM at Cronulla, top section and bottom section!
my concern is that maybe the full carbon is not as strong as lower carbon content, as i had an X3 that coped a beating all the time and held up fine. Obviously the X3 was a dog performance wise compared to 100%.
There is only 100% available in Loft so i was curious to know what other brands are compatible? possibly 70-80%.
The loft masts are a good price and suit the sails well so i will get one if its the best option.
Any help and ideas would be great,
Thanks Duncan.

Loft lip waves, though it was a 4.7 on a 400 mast so maybe a little more tension on mast?? not very down hauled but loft specs say its fine to use, 2 inch of mast pocking out the top.
i picked off a nice 4 footer at Wanda, got a few turns in, then as the wave was going to close out bottom turned only to see that the lip was fully pitching and sucking of the bank. Sh!t too late. over committed and basically hi the breaking wave head on. bailed the gear and when i can up notice that heartbreaking floppy sail.
When i got the rig ashore and checked it out the mast had snapped below the boom connection and just above the joint. boom was still connected.
it was far from being one of the heavier wipeouts I've had??
