Where to?

I raised the La Nina thing in the SA forum in September. Less or more wind depends on where you live.

The northern beaches of Adelaide rely heavily on the SW seabreezes where as down south, Sellicks beach relies on SE channelling through gullies. El Nino is best for the SW where as La Nina is best for the SE.

The La Nina SE works against the SW seabreeze resulting in a bad inconsistent season for northern beaches.

Long story short, the La Nina is not expected to be a dominant this year and we've had a couple of seabreezes kick in at the northern beaches. But it's certainly far from ideal where I live.

Yeah I know there is great windsurfing down there. I lived in a few places around Wollongong for a while, Primbee and Willawarra. I had a board especially for the westerlies at Lake Illawarra, a Bombora 260.

already a much much better season here in SEQ than last year. hopefully la nina not quite so agro for you guys this season too

the official word is la nina again this year but much weaker than last year.
