A question which I'm sure to regret asking - how good do you need to be to actually finish this course? As a newbie intermediate, could / should I consider it just for the heck of it??

if you can comfortably get in your harness + foot straps and if you can water start with a bit of swell around you'll be laughing..

it does help if you have cambered sails + adjustable outhauls which will make it easier to go deep down wind but its not a requirement. There are always guys doing the course on wave gear.

Its a great day and the organises has big emphasis on safety.

Totally sign up!

Can anyone explain why entry to the Waves event is $110 for windsurfing and only $44 for kites apart from Kite surfers are unemployable dole bludgers who can't afford the $110?
