Thanks, I have called the shops to give them a heads up as well as my sailing network. Definently gonna give cashies and the pawnbrokers a heads up also. Thanks for that thread you showed me!

be prepared for a "less than helpful" response from pawn shops. Had a heap of tools stolen a few years back went to them with a list. All engraved with my surname.
"bad luck buddy, cops come in and check up regularly, thats good enough for us"

rumour has it that these thief shop chainstores have a roadtrain going back and forth across the Nullabor taking the hot stuff interstate, east coast to WA and vice versa.
Best just go in there regular and check up with tipping them off maybe?
