Hey all,

I've recently purchased a 145l JP funster. Its been great so far, however I now want to move the footstraps further back and therein lies my problem. The screws were unbelievably difficult to get out, and now I can't put them back in! They'll screw in until they wont go any tighter, but the pad on the end of the footstrap still swivels from side to side. The only thing I can think of to tighten them more is used a drill, but then it'll probably strip the screws! Has anyone else experienced this??!!

Use some washing up liquid to lub the screw, and use a large size screwdriver to get decent torgue on the screw. Makes a huge difference! I had this problem with a new board, when I just used a little phillips screwdriver and no lubrication :-)

BTW the way the screws are special (the are originally designed for plastic fasteners on aircraft...), so don't be tempted to replace them with ordinary ones, you will damage the board.

Failing that take it a shop, they should have the appropriate sized screwdriver etc
