hey why do they take the jetski out with the equipment and set up in the water?
There's a good scene in the Robby Naish: RIP video where him and another guy are launching at Jaws by jumping off some rocks in to the water with their gear on the back of a wave and then they have to drift out a few hundred metres before they get in to the wind. The other guy gets sucked in by this huge set and washed across the rocks and destroyed.
After that they probably decided it was easier to take a jetski ;-)
