The board planes early, gybes sweet, fun in the waves when not too big (which is most of the time in NSW), is fast and user friendly. The sails are light, tuff, have heaps of torque for my weight and are easily handled. A very simple and effective combo.

I'd probably go a Tabou 3S 106 ltr - perfect world custom paint job - I wish you could order boards blank and go get them custom painted.........

Seems to be where I have the most fun and covers 18 knots up to about 30-35 (depending on where) for me.
Kind of given up on the freeride/freerace gear as I am yet to find something that really works for me. So that does make things a bit easier.

Interesting question. For me the perfect 3 sails and one board setup for wave sailing would be:

WA 5.6, 4.7, 4.2. - 94ish litre board.

NSW 5.6, 4.7, 4.2 - 100 litre board.

SE Asia: 5.6 Severne S1 - 118 litre Goya quad, sail is super light for easy handling in light wind and the whole kit inc board and bag is less than 23 kg which makes flying easy.

Im a tad over 100 kg.
