Went to Boardcrazy to see what size they thought my board was & was persuaded to take a cheapie out for a test sail.Ended up buying it..The Hifly Move a bump & Jump style board 2005- 103ltres 258cms X 60cms. My price range & convenience mainly..+ it is heaps more forgiving to sail than mine ( 86ltres) planes through gybes even when you stuff them up..& when the wind dies I can bludge & dont have to watch the nose & tippy toe..Not sure if I could uphaul it but I suppose Ill find out ..havent uphauled since 84..
Cripes Im aching all over..but at least I got a sail!Actually I probably won't shut up as Ill be trying to get tips on how to sail it
Ps- its a hell of a lot lighter than mine too ! Has a big nose ..is it rocker? really turns up whereas mine is fairly straight..

Ah I just love as happy ending

Good stuff sbc, I' reackon if your less than 85kg you should be able to uphaul, I'm 90 and can just uphaul a 105, a bit a rocker up front is good in short steep chop.

Have Fun

great that you got to test sail it!
... and you got some wind...

which is more than most of us have been able to manage lately!

Yeah a demo & b/c facilities! Doesn't seem to hurt as much on bankcard..at least until later..You can thank me for the great wind forecast this week..I want to try out my new lightwind board so of course the wind gods are going to send 20 - 30kts! We need someone to buy light wind gear everyweek..Oh well I might finally get to try out my 'new' 4m I bought a month ago..

Thought Id post some pics of the 2 to compare them..Not great photos as one has a fin in & one without + bad angle..would have been best if Id put them next to each other but I was too lazy..
