Can someone point me the way to a waist harness that doesn't ride up or a seat harness with a higher hook? Does it exist? I'm fed up using my mid '80s waist harness as it tends to ride up more nowadays, I've become more rotund since them trim and terrific days and more barrel shape.

I don't have a windsurfing shop locally to have a touchy feely so will need to look on the net with your recommendations.

I'm trying to avoid a seat harness if I can help it.

Flying Object use to (still might) do a waist harness that still had crotch straps and a seat. It was a great harness and did not ride up at all. That said after it died from endless use I got a straight waist harness (Flying Object) against and it does not ride up either.

You have to try a lot of harnesses on and find a good fit if you go down the waist harness path.

Niel Pryde Make a Combo Harness which might be what you are looking for. Its like a waist harness with crotch straps.
