Just to remind everyone we will have the heli at Ledge to film the race and take photos. There will be a D.V.D. made of the race so make sure everyone turns up for what is looking like the best day for years.

Anyone approached the commercial TV channels to show the good fast footage of the leaders on the news or sports tonight etc?

Ideal opportunity .....especially as usually they show a line up of kit on the beach if we are lucky

They are probably waiting for the news on who the new umpire will be for the cricket or whether that AFL druggo has had another bender. Stupid TV execs need to realise they have world class watersports right on their doorsteps in WA. People travel all over the world to sail and surf there.

No offence Mobydisc but have you recently watched commercial free to air TV in this country? It would appear that the lowest comment denominator bogan Aussie doesn't need to much intellectual stimulation... I guess something as dull as cricket (I know I'll get flammed for this) is right up their alley.
