I used to sail there - it's rubbish! Can't believe he sailed all that way - and in the winter. However 9 degrees isn't that cold and if he had a proper westuit (5mm smoothskin) he'd have been fine!

I like that- rushed to his aid by taking him down the local pub.

When you start seeing penguins (ie 9 degrees) it's too cold to windsurf.

If I did the same thing the phone conversation with my wife would go something like- Hi honey I was just wondering if you could pick ... er i've been blown a little............ ummm I'll be home late for dinner.

ya get penguins in over 9 degrees. boulders beach in s Africa has them and that is in warm current side of cape of good hope.

Nah, +9 is no prpblem windsurfing in, thats warm. What's really freeky I guess are the cargo ships. They can't stop or turn that easy!

Cool guy though! I bet evryone on the beach knows about him after this! Hehe, respect

Thats it! if a bloody Pom can go 68k then the 65k from Pt Ormond to Pt henry is a must do.
