Hi all,

I've just noticed that all the clips I film have been "shortened" for some reason.

I'm filming in 720p 60fps. My theory is that the SD card I'm using, now about 3 years old, is too slow for the camera, therefore the video gets recorded "late" as the SD card simply cant handle all the information transferring.

Anyone else had this problem?

Thanks.

hey agrelon...
it's definately possible with the additional frame rate that the card can't keep up.
One way to test is to see if you have any dramas if you shoot in 30fps.

Also, what sort of card is it?
We have tested heaps of different ones over the last year and the ones that seem to be the most reliable are Kingston and Maxflash.

Yeh, it must be the card. Just noticed the little (2) on it so it's definitely the card that can't keep up.

I have a class 4 4gb one, normally that should do it, but I'll definitely get an 8 or 16gb class 6 one soon.

Hi

According to folk on some of the other forums, there are even some class 6 cards that still won't work with the gopro HD due to some unknown compatability issues.

It might be worth having a read of some of the gopro threads to find out which cards others have successfully used.
