That makes sense (not) - lets hold the championships the same week as the Lancelin classic.

If you look at the overlap days

thurs 8th, friday 9th - wavesailing in Lancelin, Formula in NSW. Not a lot of commonality in disciplines.

Slalom racing is on Sat and Sun, and there is at least one person competing at the Formula Nationals that is flying to WA on Friday night to race on Sat.

No problems, no worries.

Ledge race is 10th Jan. FW Nationals are 06-09Jan09... There are many flights that get you to both events...We actually spend a lot of time making sure events don't clash, this one included?
It is a tough ask sometimes, eg the Ausssie Youth event are currently on in WA, which completely clashes with the FW Nationals, but they are scheduled by the YA. We really do try, but it is not alway possible to keep everyone happy....Cheers
