Hi There,

Can any one recommend a set of replacement foot straps which accommodate wide & chunky feet? I find the straps on my Starboard Go are okay on the loosest fitting until i put booties on, and then they just don't fit.

Cheers CW

thanks for the link, looks like the MFC might be the go.

I am surprised this is not a more common problem, there must be a lot of windsurfers with slender feet. (my feet look like Fred Fintstones!)

cheers cw

I have slab feet and find that i need to just put my straps on the widest setting that your board has and then adjust to make a snug fit.
there is no way I can get into the straps on boards that most of my mates use and even had to have new strap plug inserts installed in a high wind slalom I bought in Maui.
I have different sorts of boards so its not just certain brands.
Hope this helps.

Try Dakine kiteboard straps...slightly stretchy, wide & flat! Seriously!

(dons Flame suit)

I had them on, and recently took them off, found that they were a bit too stretchy for me, but the most comfy straps I've had!

I though I was going to next read something like, "I've just tried kitesurfing and it is so much better than windsurfing...". I don't think you need a flame suit for what you said.

I use the um "Cabrinha Foot straps".
They only have slight adjustment using the different pin holes in the bottom of the strap.
Cost app. $12 a pair.

I have high arches and big feet, I have these set on the narrowest web settings on the foot strap and they have been brilliant.
Use them on both my JP SS 118 and F2 SX Medium.
Super comfy, no chaff, the foot locks in, I have never had the front foot slide or bounce out. Tested extensively at Melville Beech and Gnaraloo.
One of my friends of smaller stature tried them on a *board and needed them to be smaller, so I think for the larger foot.
