Hi guys, I am looking at purchasing a new weed fin to suit my 93 ltr JP FSW, what I need to understand is what does and how do fin sizes affect performance, what winds should I use a small fin and visa versa, I spend most time using my 4.7 and 5.5 but I am yet to use my JP, there will be a standard 28cm fin suplied with the board which I dont have yet, I just need to pay and collect. I also want to purchase a new Choco fin which is my question has been put out there.

I need some understanding as I find this aspect of tuning for different rigs a bit confusing.

I am 92 kg and 175 cms tall.

I have -
130 ltr Power glide 6 seasons old
102 ltr no name HiFly plastic oldie slalom 10 seasons old
93 ltr JP FSW 2 seasons old
Sails -
4.2, 4.7, 5.5, 6.0 and a 6.7
Fin - yes 1 fin 33cm weedy

Looking forward to any help, thanks guys.

Cheers GT

Minty,

As well as the choco's (which are nice fins by the by)

The new JP weedies really look the goods, whole stack of G10 units just lobbed in with lots of diferent sizes and types and bases.

Theres free ride (got me one of these for my misty) fins and a nice selection of weed wave fins this year.
