Kato has knocked me off Winwarrior's No1, position, tommorow might be a chance to get close, though we have nothing that flat in Mandurah to the glass of Sandy Point, If I do my PB I'll be happy with that

Chop makes such a huge difference to how fast you can go......... I've sailed Sandy Point it's fkn glass

Ta Rex, sounds like this new spot has some promise for you, that's the great thing about GPS you have something objective to go by, and you can tweak and see what works to go faster, given the chop you sail in, maybe I couldn't go much faster than you, in the same conditions?. We sail on pretty small chop to get those 35's, and Sandy mostly has no chop, so high 30's in similar conditions/wind strengths that we've been doing 35's in, should be a comparable to Sandy Point, It's all relative, keep working on it!!!

I know the run, looks huge, gotta try later this year, what are your chances for going north @ Easter?

Me thinks Mr Kato (Craig) has moved goal posts out of my reach. my PB is still 2 knots behind his run.

Hardies run is looking sahweeet
