I want to get a smaller fin for shallow waters (Goolwa)

What fin option should I use?

I weigh 100kgs, board is a starboard Carve 122, want to keep same performance, with out the dragging....current fin is a drake 38 or something,

do I go for wave fin, smaller slalom?

I dont know too much about fins, please enlighten me.

hi divaldo, you could try a smaller slalom fin, but go for a pointer style fin, being more of an upright fin it will produce more lift for the size, the carves come with a raked fin i.e curved trailing edge, these fins don't giva as much lift for there size but turn heaps better than the pointer. hope this helps out....

yer, some people call them a dagger fin the trailing edge will be almost dead straight.
