Someone has left their boom behind at Pellican point Saturday 30th Jan.
You might notice it missing when you go to rig up next cos the sail will be a bit baggy without it. Even with a zero outhaul sail.
I left it hanging on the shower.
Hopefully it will stay there until the owner picks it up.

How about that light breeze we had?
Had to be 30 knots plus out in the middle.
Enough to blow the spots off a dalmatian. Although I didn't see any dalmations out there so I spose they were all home minding their spots.
If that's from global warming then I'm going to leave my car idling when I'm not using it from now on.
The most exciting sail i've had all summer. My smallest sail is a 5 metre and I was pretty much blown off the planet on my very old fibreglass wave board.
I think they are definitely a lot smoother in rough chop than the new boards.
Sweet!

Perhaps the guy with the boom walked away from sailing after yesterday - Nirvana?

Just had a look at the site records for yesterday - yep it was a bit of a breeze. I left at 17:00 just as it was peaking - one more circuit and I would have broken something.

Interesting on a six ...... take off and hang on for dear life ..... trying to pick a fine line out and back. It was pretty fast & good fun.

Remember thinking at one time that the I could understand the addiction to speed for the Mandurah crew.
