Just a quick note about the above accident from back in December 2008 that you may have heard of.

He (and I'll leave it up to him to remain anonymous if he chooses) pm'ed me to say that he is back at home with his family and is making what the doctors say is an amazing recovery.

I've asked him to give us all (particularly the kiters out there) some details about the accident so that others might learn from whatever happened that day.

Most importantly though ... he's doing well considering the horrific injuries he described in the message to me.

Thats great to hear.

I heard from a local the extent of his injuries. Best wishes and excellent news to hear he is back home.
