Just a reminder to all those people that sail at the Train (you know who you are),either regularly or once a year, that on this Saturday, Aug 4, is a public information day planned @ Washington Waters Park, opposite Aust Fair from 10am-1pm.
This may be your best and only chance to veiw the draft master plan and voice your opinions and concerns about the redevelopment of the western foreshore between Loders Creek and Sundale Bridge, as we may loose access to rig and launch; or the beach altogether!
Spread the word !!!

A united front , Yeah , for sure. Had a scare here in Manly a while back. Flinders point was to be made a multi story residential and retail development. It got rejected by the local residents.( not the few windsurfin guys) So, that might be the key.???

I don't sail there anymore (have moved out west to sail) but if I was anywhere near QLD I'd be there. Attend if you can. It's a great place, don't lose it!

as Bill the Battler from Porpoise Spit quoted "you cant stop progress"

bummer, Im sure the council wont be happy until they can pour concrete from one end of the coast to the other.
