Nothing less enjoyable than being stuck in a WINDLESS rotating rip 5m from the shore with ur mates laughing at you for half an hour.

The best thing to do in a situation like that is to ditch ya rig and paddle around like your on a surfboard. The chance of getting laughed at would be slim especially if you catch a wave and get shacked. Your mates would be gob smacked and you will have the last laugh

if u can't manage to avoid the whirlpool, fisher & paykel do offer quite a good warranty on white goods if things go bad providing your board is white
