Hi All,

I'm after a waist harness. Would anyone have any comments on the Dakine T3, good or bad. Can't seem to find any shops in the Melbourne area that stock them so have been unable to try one on. Cheers.

hey i saw them in maui a mounth ago they are the same on the inside as the thermos of last year which i have good harness but when i have worn them with out a top the hook webing moves up and makes a bad rash on the top of my stomic. i wouldn't buy one i'd look for one that dosn't have the the one piece of webbing that goes right across the front but have two straps on ether side.

Really great product. super comfy and durable...personally, I think the moving spreader bar is the best feature....cheers

I had the same prob in maui as you johny, loved the harness but hated the moving spreader bar, drove me insane

Guess it would just be a personal preference though. Otherwise harness was awesome and would recomend it if you like a moving spreader bar!!

Assuming it is the same as the Thermo I got a few years ago and is buckled on both sides then I would have thought it would be possible to cut the strap in half and loop it from each side.

Personally I find that the fact it moves makes it more comfortable for going up wind as you can twist you body to face forward more, although it isd then a pain when you change tack! I think you can actually buy a pad that fits on the strap behind the bar, it stops it moving and also stops it rubbing.

On the whole though I think it is the most comfortable harness I have used and made a big difference to my technique. DaKine certainly seem to know their stuff when it comes to comfort; the Contour footstraps are brilliant as well!
