Hi All,
I have a daKine seat harness a couple years old that is in good enough condition, but I must have trodden on the male part of the clip on one leg strap, and broken the clip. I just broke the back part of it that secured the adjustment, so I have tied a knot and I can still use it (it still clips in), but want to fix it up so it is adjustable again. I tried a local retailer who was not helpful in supplying a replacement dakine clip. They could supply a different brand which would require replacing both female and male sides and would require some effort by someone to sew the female harness side on. I prefer to locate just the broken part and I can replace that easily myself. I only threw my old dakine seat harness out a few months ago, and I suspect it had on it the clips I need, and I figured I had no use for that any more since it had ripped.... Doh!!
So I am just posting here to see if anyone has an old dakine seat harness that they may have laying about that I could purchase a set of clips from. I checked ebay etc., but no luck. I am sure there are some windsurfers with the part I am looking for in the back shed, so just posting here in the hope of finding someone. Also hoping that the dakine clips have not changed across models, which would stuff my plan up completely!!
Cheers,
Adrian

I was just hoping for dakine so I could just replace the side of the clip on the strap which is broken. No stitching required... just unstitch where it folds back on itself and slide off old and slide on new (no need to restitch the fold). If I replace the whole clip I have to unstitch and restitch the female side also, and I don't have that capability. I will of course go that way if I cannot find one. Wish I did not throw out my old harness!!
