this place is great in a n/e wind, today we sailed there for 2 hours plus, fully powered, long runs, plenty of jumps, and with the safety of if something goes wrong you wash into Palm Beach.

The kiters love this place, so more of you local windsurfers should venture down, especially you guys that hang at the train, try something new, give it a shot, if you hate it so be it!

Im 100% hooked, sure its a bit harder than flat water blasting but the fun is way ahead!

Generally if there is a 15 knot n-n/e there will be a few of us there.

life of the rich and famous, well...... except im not rich..... or famous for that matter, so maybe life of the slack ass! Gestalt I basically am in the water every day, if the wind is not up Im surfing for a few hours. Whatever way, its awesome! Im just lucky enough to be able to rangle my working hours to suit me, and, I really dont have much else to do thru the day. Might start building model railways for the days I get bored! sure!!!

Hey Md74,

Rustle and I had a blast out at North Kirra today, lovely wind, I guess you would have had the same wind only being a k or two up the beach. On my way in I scored a wave that just kept coming and coming, so I kept bottom turning and cutting back, counted 8 bottom turns! Yeeha!! Also my jumping problem was that my straps were too loose.

I had a moment of euphoria out there on the water today, as if that moment was the epitome of what sailing was all about -- relaxed stance, perfect wind, feeling every little bump of water and eddy of air, perfectly in control.

yes boys, currumbin was good after md left suffering from weak arm syndrome, and we were joined by "rooster" who hasn't seen a windsurfer in a decade. (rooster shapes mals for respected surfers, nat, bonga etc) good to see he hasn't lost his touch with our sport.
as the weatherman says "tomorrow is going to be a great day"
