I am hoping to take my family (5 of us) to the Cocos Islands in July. Does anyone have experience of taking their own kit to Cocos, moving it about once there etc.? I know 2nd wind run dedicated holidays to CI ( I have sent Jez an e-mail requesting info). We want a 3 bed house and I am interested in others experience of doing this independently. I am the only windsurfer in the family.

You pretty much just carry it down to the beach. And leave it there too i bet.
Bound to be a friendly local that will take you a bit further if need be.
Ask the accom providers.
Take a small trolley(kayak type) and tie strap (i do this in August from CVP to rigging area)
